EMD PrintManager from s.a.x.A multi-functional solution that addresses electronic forms and Barcodes printing in both the UNIX and NT environments. Part of its rich functionality is the ability to generate barcodes either by automatically calling the required font from the printer, or by downloading TrueTypes to the relevant device. The software works particularly well in SAP environments, and where a significant amount of remote printing is required.
With EMD on your print server overlays, watermarks, dynamic elements (e.g. date), company logos, footer, signatures, terms & conditions (always on the back) and more are printed automatically with your data stream. Developed by s.a.x. EMD Printmanager provides barcodes within minutes for output of all kind of applications - for SAP and other ERP systems as well as for legacy host systems without any programming. EMD emulates forms electonically and makes preprinted forms obsolete. The forms are easily designed WYSIWYG with e.g. Word and printed to the EMD server. The data trigger the appropriate form elements and EMD adds printer control functionality like number of copies and generates barcodes to be printed on any PCL printer. Not enough? EMD provides cluster printing by splitting print jobs and applying parts to assigned printers. The output of large documents is enhanced in a controlled manner.
